About Me

Photographer: Damian Blacklock

Hey, I’m Tara — proud mom of four, military spouse, USAF veteran, and your detail‑obsessed planner with a passion for unforgettable weddings. My journey into planning began right after high school when I joined the Air Force. I spent 10 years serving with precision, discipline, and a deep appreciation for structure — all qualities that still shape the way I plan events today. After separating in 2016 to spend more time with my growing family, I found myself continuing to create meaningful moments within my community… and I knew I wanted to turn that passion into a career. So, I went back to school to pursue my passions — studying both Wedding Planning and Interior Design through the New York Institute of Art & Design. I’m also a proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, and I bring more than a decade of hands-on experience to every celebration I plan.I’m incredibly lucky to have the full support of my husband, who is still active duty. He’s my biggest cheerleader and truly believes in the work I do — which makes this business even more meaningful to our family. What drives me most is this: your wedding should feel like you. Whether it’s blending cultures, honoring family traditions, or designing a completely custom experience, I’m here to make sure every detail reflects your story. With me, planning feels like family — thoughtful, intentional, and joyfully stress-free.

Your Love, Your Story, Your Las Vegas WeddingCouples from all over the world come to Las Vegas — the wedding capital of the world — to say “I do,” and I’m honored to help make those moments unforgettable. To design a day that’s truly unique, I take the time to get to know you. Before we ever talk contracts or logistics, I’m listening, taking notes, asking thoughtful questions, and reflecting on what will bring your vision to life. Over time, we often become like family — and that’s exactly how I want you to feel.I specialize in planning four distinct types of weddings:✨ Elopements
Intimate, meaningful, and often spontaneous — elopements are all about the two of you. Whether it’s the Sure Thing Chapel, the iconic Little White Chapel, or a private suite ceremony, there’s magic in keeping it simple. (Fun fact: My husband and I eloped right here in Las Vegas!)
💐 Micro Weddings
With around 50–60 guests, micro weddings strike the perfect balance between personal and celebratory. You get the joy of sharing your day with your closest people — without the stress of a large-scale event. Think venues like The Stirling Club, Neon Museum, Forge Social House, or Cili.
💎 Luxury Weddings
The kind of weddings that make headlines. These are high-end, detail-driven experiences filled with elegance and opulence. From Fontainebleau to Resorts World to Green Valley Ranch, we’ll craft a celebration that’s truly unforgettable.
🎨 Bespoke Weddings
No two couples are alike — and these weddings reflect that. Fully custom-designed, your day will feel like you in every detail. These are my personal favorites to plan. Think offbeat and stylish venues like Adorn, The Doyle, Ferguson’s Rooftop, or Park on Fremont.

What Couples Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions

  • DO YOU HAVE A PREFERRED VENDORS LIST? yes, however i do not openly share the list. once a contract is signed, my clients will have access to my preferred vendors based on their personal style and budgets.

  • DO I NEED A MARRIAGE LICENSE TO GET MARRIED IN LAS VEGAS? yes, you need a marriage license issued by the clark county marriage bureau. you can apply online to save time, but both parties must appear in person to pick up the license. it costs $102, and there's no waiting period, so you can get married immediately after receiving it.

  • IS MY WEDDING LEGAL IF I AM NOT A U.S. CITIZEN? yes, you can legally get married in las vegas even if you're not a U.S. citizen. the marriage license is recognized worldwide, but you may need to check your home country's requirements for documentation or authentication after the wedding.

  • WHEN TO START PLANNING IN LAS VEGAS? if you are planning a wedding in spring (mar-may) or fall (sep-nov), then you should start planning 12 to 15 months out. these are the most popular times for weddings in las vegas. smaller weddings or elopements can be arranged with shorter notice, but highly recommend you begin planning no less than six months out from the wedding date.

  • WHICH VENDORS SHOULD WE BOOK FIRST? book your planner/designer first. the venue determines your wedding date and style. the planner/designer can help guide you through the rest of the planning process, from vendor selection to design elements, and can recommend trusted vendors that fit your vision. next, book your photographer and videographer. these vendors capture your wedding day memories, so securing a talented professional should be a priority. if your venue doesn't provide in-house catering or bartending, this would be next on your list. this includes deciding on whether you want a plated meal, buffet, or food stations. if you’re planning a food truck reception or specific cuisine, locking them in early will ensure availability. do not forget about entertainment! do you want a dj? a live band? a guitarist? if you know who you want, book them! then your florist. florals are an important part of your wedding décor and ambiance. since florists also tend to book in advance, especially for large weddings, it’s crucial to secure them early. they will help bring your color palette and design vision to life through bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony arrangements.

  • WHAT PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER? a few. each ceremony, reception, or event is truly unique. after our first call, if we both feel comfortable, i will provide a proposal, typically with a la carte options.

  • WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT? services range from $2,500 to $10,000.00+

  • WILL YOU CONSIDER LOWERING YOUR MINIMUM? my business model is built to accommodate up to five events throughout the year that have a very low total budget. i believe everyone deserves a beautiful wedding. each inquiry is considered very thoughtfully & after a considerable amount of conversation with the couple. please don't submit a request for this if you don't absolutely need it.

  • DO YOU PLAN OTHER EVENTS? yes! i am happy to plan engagements, bridal showers, bachelorette/bachelor parties, honeymoons, welcome receptions & day-after brunch. please inquiry for specific pricing.
